Join us for a Pitch Party with agent Kaitlyn Sanchez of Context Literary

Where you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about pitch crafting directly from an agent!
- Hear about the stories publishers and agents are looking for
- Submit your pitch (anonymously)
- Receive feedback (to select pitches)
- Submit your polished story following the event!

Please submit your pitch by February 27th, 12:00 am to: israel@scbwi.org. We’ll collect the pitches, remove any names, and pass them on to Kaitlyn, who will be critiquing our story pitches anonymously.

Your pitch must:
- Be written in English
- Contain up to 3 sentences and 150 words
- Mention the book’s genre: board book, nonfiction, picture book, early chapter, middle grade, or young adult

Also, please check all times carefully to make sure you don’t miss out on joining us live! But if you have to, a recording will be available for one month following the event.
EXTENDED REGISTRATION:
Following several requests, we’ve extended the registration deadline (after the event) until March 30th, 11:30 pm. Please note that this option will provide a link to the event recording and the opportunity for authors and author-illustrators to submit their story to Kaitlyn (deadline: April 6th), but, of course, will not offer the opportunity to receive online feedback on your pitch.
